Long time no blog

It has been more than 4 yrs since I posted anything and I totally forgot that I had a blog page. Well here is the update about us. We are soon to be 6. Little Peal Jannette (PJ) Weeks will be joining us this summer July 4th 2013. We are also very busy building houses for our new neighborhood. There are 10 families that are going to be in our new neighborhood and we are all building each others homes. It is part of Housing Hope, a home building team that helps 1st time home buyers get into a home that then may not have otherwise afforded, by helping them build there own home and getting some sweat equity out of the deal.
We will be moving in at the end of the year and we are really looking forward to our new home.

Silas will be finishing up 2nd grade, Carsyn will be finishing her first yr of her dual language Kinder program and is doing very well with both Spanish and English  Aidan is...well she is 3 and she wants to do everything that her siblings do. The kids are excited about the new baby and the new house.

Things are a little rocky at work for me I am not sure if this current job will continue but that is OK either way because we will be just fine if I need to look for something else. I think that I have enough time to stay above water and pull everything together. This year has had a lot of changes and I am going to be happy if they all end up good changes and not bad ones.

Gena is pulling most of the weight with the home building. You should see her, she is doing so many new things and she is great at is. When the foundations were getting pored the foundation guy said that she was the best and hardest worker that he has seen in a long time. He went on and on about how she just put her head down and went to work while all the others kind of worked but mostly talked. He said she could have a job anytime she wanted. Gena can now do siding, put in windows, sheet walls, build walls, set trusses, and pretty much anything that you nee to do to build a house. I am so proud of everything that she has learned and i love this new found confidence that she has gained from doing this type of work. She is becoming the leader that I knew she could be and I am glad that she is seeing it to.

Well that's the hap's for now and I will post pictures to see in a bit.
